“We wanted to capture the experiences of kids in secondary school during the first lockdown and without Seenit it’s no exaggeration to say we wouldn’t really have been able to tell that story. Certainly not as authentically and with as much impact.”

Twofour used a combination of professionally shot footage, webcam content, and user-generated video to produce the show. The kids that featured became content creators, using Seenit to document first-hand what life when the schools were closed during the first lockdown. Instead of a film crew asking them questions, they empowered the kids to film their experiences through their eyes, capturing more candid and authentic moments. This way of filming immediately appealed to the children and they were quickly able to get their heads around it and have fun with it.
