We had the pleasure of welcoming PayPal to our second webinar of 2022. Seenit’s Founder and CEO, Emily Forbes and Customer Success Manager, Robyn Matthews, will be joined by Katie Read, who works on the Global Employee Communications Team at PayPal. Katie manages global programs and activations for over 25,000 employees worldwide, including PayPal’s external employee ambassadorship and internal networking programs. She has spent the last five years in Austin, Texas, and Toronto, Canada, before moving back to London.
We dived into how PayPal built its workplace culture around the employee voice. We covered the culture at PayPal and the impact that the employee voice can have within one of the largest and most successful organisations in the financial technology space.
Katie discussed their success with recent initiatives such as ‘Random Connect’, a way to meet and network with fellow PayPal employees globally remotely. We also explored ‘PayPal 360’, a video series that spotlights teams and employees to bring their personalities, purpose, and impact to life.

After spending 5 years in Austin, TX, and Toronto, Canada, Katie recently moved back to London with her husband, Alex, and baby boy, Flynn.
